2 HOURS, 1 CREDIT Th is course introduces students to physical, cognitive and emotional demands of police, correction and fi re fi ghter work. Students learn how to develop and maintain high levels of aerobic and anaerobic fi tness as well as how to address many special needs of law enforcement personnel: diet and nutrition, care of the back, fatigue from shift work and physical fi tness tests. Th is is an activity course. Students may apply no more than four credits of activity courses toward their degree requirements. Th ere is no restriction on the number of three-credit physical education courses that can be used to fulfi ll elective requirements.
