3 HOURS, 3 CREDITS A studio class introducing the principles of vocal technique and developing the singing voice through study of classical methods. Song literature studied ranges from 17th and 18th century art songs through traditional folk music to contemporary classical and popular songs. Prerequisite: Ability to sing a simple song with correct rhythm and pitch and a pleasant tonal quality.
