3 HOURS, 3 CREDITS Th is course provides the student with basic knowledge of personal computers and their use in the modern workplace. Non-technically trained individuals learn how to organize their data for effi cient computer use and to decide which practical options are available vis-àvis specifi c computer systems. Students learn to use word processing packages, spreadsheets and databases in a modern networked computing environment. Prerequisites: ENG 101 and three credits of mathematics. No previous computer course is required.
