Topics include civil commitment, the rights of mental patients, standards of legal competence, psychological testimony, predictions of dangerousness, the insanity defense, child custody disputes and ethical issues in psychology and the law. Prerequisites: ENG 102 or ENG 201, PSY 101, and PSY 242 or LAW 203
