Th is course examines the process by which criminal law is brought to bear on individuals in society as provided in the New York Criminal Procedure Law. Consideration of current court decisions that aff ect the application of this law, and the role and responsibility of the police as witnesses. Prerequisites: ENG 101 and sophomore standing or above.
