Particular subjects include judicial notice, presumptions, the nature of real and circumstantial evidence, burden of proof, province of court and jury, documentary evidence, hearsay evidence, confessions, admissions, witnesses and constitutionally protected evidence. Emphasis on evidence in criminal cases. Prerequisites: ENG 101 and sophomore standing or above.
