3 HOURS, 3 CREDITS Th is course examines the concepts and skills that enable the student to use personal and mainframe computers as a consumer or to progress to more advanced work in many disciplines in the sciences and humanities. Students will use personal computers as well as learn how to access the large mainframe system. Th e course explores the computer as a research tool, its role in modern society, and examines its organizational, social and ethical implications.
