3 HOURS, 3 CREDITS Th is course is designed for students who need to acquire introductory computer and information literacy skills. Th e students will achieve competence in basic computer skills including keyboarding, word processing, e-mailing and internet access. Students will also develop information literacy skills, having the ability to understand the variety of content and formats of information, and competence in accessing, evaluating, organizing and applying it. Reinforcement of these competencies will be gained during a 10-hour computer lab experience.
