Topics include: scarcity, opportunity cost and the production possibility curve, unemployment, inflation, GDP and related aggregates, economic growth, classical Keynesian models of income and employment determination, government policies for full employment and price stability, and money and the banking system. The course meets General Education "World View" Requirement Area 3.Prerequisites: Fundamentals of Algebra (MAT094) and Reading Skills II (RDG095) or placement.
