Occupational Therapy 2 Credits Life satisfaction, meaning, multicultural aspects, and activity analysis of ADLs, work, and leisure are addressed in this course. Safety and prevention are a focus. Hygiene, dressing, eating, mobility, socialization, and sexual expression are all covered. ADL assessments are covered in detail. Students practice using assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and family training. Assessment and treatment in the performance areas of work, play, and leisure are also addressed. Prevocational independent work will be examined from an occupational therapy perspective. The role of play and leisure throughout the life span will be addressed.
