Occupational Therapy 4 Credits Functional anatomy is surveyed utilizing computer and model simulations. Bone, video, and cadaver study supports the concepts covered in the classroom. Movement analysis and the biomechanical form of reference are covered in detail. Students are responsible for their own transportation to off-campus cadaver labs. Function neuroanatomy is surveyed utilizing computer and model simulations. Detailed structures and physiology of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves are covered. Tracks and lesions studies address spinal cord injuries, head trauma, stroke, dementias, and psychosocial disorders.
