Forensic Science 3 Credits This course will present the methodological basis of the osteological techniques behind the analysis and identification of human skeletal remains from criminal and legal contexts. Topics will include skeletal anatomy of humans and other vertebrates, taphonomic analysis, search and recovery techniques, mass disaster victim identification, trauma interpretation, and bone DNA analysis.
