Criminal Justice 3 Credits This course examines the balance that is made in the United States between the legitimate need of law enforcement agencies to gather evidence and the right of individuals to be secure from unwarranted governmental intrusion. The anatomy of search warrants will be covered in some depth as well as searches incidental to arrest, searches of motor vehicles, consent searches, stop and frisk, exigency searches, and administrative searches.
