Communications 3 Credits This course advances the groundwork in theory and hands-on application to multi-camera, studio television production. The course consists of real world production projects on and off campus. Emphasis is on integrating and expanding the foundation of CMS 160 to planning and executing television programs within an ENG/EFP context. Using campus and community-based projects as models, the course develops and advances students’ techniques in pre-production, production, and post-production problem-solving. Labs provide students with an advanced working knowledge of broadcast equipment, facilities, industry standards, and sophisticated digital editing.
