Communications 3 Credits This course introduces students to the basic and intertwined processes of newspaper journalism and newspaper production. Students in the course become the "staff" of the campus newspaper and take responsibility for the various stages of the newspaper production process, including developing story ideas, covering campus beats, interviewing and writing articles, soliciting advertising, and planning the paper's layout and design.
