Offered Periodically This course explores and focuses on making unique artist’s books. Beginning with simple structures, students will learn to construct traditional and non-traditional book forms using images and text. Through creating one one-of-a-kind books, students will address concept, design and technique. Slides of work by contemporary book artists will provide an understanding of the many ways in which ideas can be presented in this form. Students are expected to purchase supplies. Prerequisite: VA 1770.
