Fall and Spring Semesters Capstone course for the sociology major to be taken at the end of the coursework in the major. Course reviews the major theorists and some of the current theoretical controversies that have marked the modern history of sociological theorizing, with the goal of integrating theory, research, and practice. Students are expected to demonstrate their competence in understanding sociological theory and method in various written assignments.
