Fall and Spring Semesters Summer An analysis of urban social systems with a focus on life-styles and change in contemporary American society. The course will center on ethnicity and ethnic groups, using cross-cultural case studies, data on immigrants, and life-styles and family framework. Emphasis will be placed on strategies groups employ to manage and effect political and economic change in an urban ethnic setting. (Same course as P&H 2160, CJ 2160). This course meets either the CLAC I or the multicultural/international.
