On demand A hands-on approach builds from direct experience to develop an understanding of sound, light, and electromagnetic waves and an overview of these as the signals by which we gain information about the external world. Fundamental concepts, technological applications (e.g., how a radio works) and concepts related to information systems are treated. Modeling and the nature of scientific inquiry as a creative enterprise are stressed.
