Participation in the Adult Center at the Program for the Advancement of Learning for 45 minutes of individual and 1 hour of group sessions per week. In this introductory course, students become familiar with their learning profiles and their implications for learning and functioning. Students work collaboratively with a learning specialist/mentor to begin to identify their learning strengths, acquire effective learning strategies, and explore the impact of LD/ADD on their lives both within and outside the academic environment. This course is particularly appropriate for meeting the transition needs of new adult students as they make the adjustment to college or begin other new educational ventures. Signature of the coordinator of ACP is required. Fee: $1,650.
