Three-week experience offered twice each summer (June and July) for first year students in the Program for Advancement of Learning (PAL). Provides PAL students with the foundation for understanding learning strengths and developing strategies for addressing areas of concern. Students identify their profile of learning, attend mini-courses taught by Curry professors, develop word processing and library skills, and learn to utilize strengths to address needs in note-taking, organization, reading, and oral and written expression. Program includes field trips to Boston, orientation to counseling and residential life support, and outdoor cooperative learning activities. Fee: $ 2,800 (includes summer room and board).
