Spring Semester Explores the impact of information technology on various fields of human endeavor, including medicine, genetics, science, business and law. Students will review the history of technology, the Industrial Revolution, with a special focus on the post-industrial society of today. Issues of particular interest such as the Internet, cloning nanotechnology, globalization, and artificial intelligence will be studied. The course will conclude with a discussion of possible futures.
