Fall Semesters Operations management examines the way in which the work of an organization is accomplished, that is: How is a service provided? How is a product made? Process analysis is applied to both manufacturing and service businesses; alternate process structures, job shops, batch flow, assembly lines, and continuous process are examined. Prerequisite: MGT 1500 or MGT 1511.
