Offered Periodically This course examines sociological, ideological, and historical themes, as well as artistic and cinematic elements found in the films viewed. The films deal with Mexico, Argentina, Chile, the Caribbean, Brazil, and the United States. Taught in English. All films have English subtitles. No previous study of Spanish or Portuguese required. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing or departmental approval. Fee.
