We shall consider how the vast majority of our neighbors to the south live in a difficult present and struggle for a more promising future. Taught in English. No previous study of Spanish or Portuguese required. This course satisfies the international/multicultural requirement. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing or departmental approval.
