Offered Periodically Studies the most influential writers of fiction in this century and the impact their work has had on culture and values. It also examines why fiction has been and remains an excellent vehicle for the communication of truth. Conditions of setting, foreshadows, elements of plot and character, and dramatic action, are definitions applied to the works under study. This course meets the CLAC I Literature requirement. Prerequisite: Six (6) credits of English at the 1000-level.
