Offered Periodically This course provides a context for the use of technology as a tool in the classroom, for the educator as well as the student. A brief history of the evolution of technology in the classroom is included, as well as a close look at current and emerging technology in the classroom for the effective utilization of all resources. Hardware and software systems and programs are demonstrated as a means of providing access to the general curriculum for all students and as effective record keeping, organizational and curricular management tool for the educator. The course provides a basis for the introduction of the implementation of technology as a support and benefit to the classroom. (Same course as AC 2221). Prerequisite: PSY 1400 and one course in education or permission of instructor. Signature. Fee: $30.00
