This course is designed to give the student a working knowledge of the UNIX Kernel. Hands-on and classroom activities will stress the design and usage of all the Kernel system components. The student will learn the purpose of the process subsystem Kernel structures and tables, the file I/O subsystem structures and tables, the device driver subsystem structures and tables, and memory management subsystem structures and tables.
