Fundamentals of Biochemistry will give the student a strong foundation in the basic topics of biochemistry: proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and nucleic acids. Laboratory exercises will prepare the student to perform current techniques critical to biochemical research. These include separation chemistry, enzyme analysis, molecule isolation and identification techniques. Data recording and analysis will be stressed.
