The Advanced CAD Project course serves as a capstone learning experience for students in the Computer Aided Drafting and Design program. The course provides students with a vehicle to showcase acquired drafting and design skills in any of a number of engineering areas including (but not limited to) the architectural, mechanical, civil, and electrical disciplines. The purpose of the course is to expose final semester students to a real-world project development experience by guiding them through all of the stages of a professional level engineering project from conception to final,formal presentation.
