This course introduces the student to frequently prescribed medications, their uses, actions and common side effects. The animal science technician students will become familiar with Veterinary pharmacology and pharmacy. The student will learn about the various drugs used in the Veterinary profession and the responsibility of the animal science technician in the dispensing of these various drugs.
