Topics include principles of wellness, principles of community health, non-infectious diseases, accident and injury prevention, AIDS, STDs, nutrition, body composition, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, strength, mental and emotional health, personality traits, stress, steroids, cancer, and substance abuse. Students appraise their personal wellness levels and design a personalized fitness program that is practically applied.
