This course will present current theory and research on gender differences in the physiological, cognitive and social domains. An analysis of the implications for developmental patterns, role evolution and differential treatment of men and women will include consideration of the social and biological roots of gender and the contribution of both individual and gender differences. This course fulfi lls the liberal arts diversity requirement. Prerequisite: PSYC 172
