Designed for future teachers and rehabilitation counselors of persons with physical, sensory, or health impairments. Etiology, physical and social-emotional characteristics, and educational considerations and implications are emphasized within a transdisciplinary habilitative/rehabilitative team perspective. Prerequisite: admission to the teacher education program; passing scores on the PPST; 2.5 overall grade-point average; grades of C or better in SPCED 201 (SPCED 302 for ELEM/SPCED dual majors) and 202.
