Topics relevant to the discipline. Course titles will be announced before each semester. A total of 6 hours of credit may be earned. 340 Large Instrumental Ensemble. (1) A major performing ensemble, rehearsing normally five hours a week. Included in this category are the Wind Ensemble, Symphony Band, Marching Show Band, Basketball Pep Band, Symphony Orchestra, and Jazz Ensemble I. 341 Large Instrumental Ensemble. (.5) Organizations normally rehearsing two hours a week. Included in this category are the Concert Band and Jazz Ensembles II and III. 350 Large Vocal Ensemble. (1) Major performing ensembles normally rehearsing five hours a week. Included in this category are the Concert Choir, Opera/Musical Theatre, and the University Singers. 351 Large Vocal Ensemble. (.5) Organizations normally rehearsing two hours a week. Included in this category are the Women's Chorus, the Statesmen, the University Chorus, and the Lab Choir.
