Introduction to human motor development across the lifespan emphasizing major theoretical viewpoints; factors affecting motor development including physiological change, perceptual change, cognitive change, sociocultural practices, and intervention; and instruction and assessment of fundamental motor patterns in a laboratory setting. Includes laboratory experience. Prerequisite: PEP 209; permission of the instructor. Open only to physical education teaching majors or by permission of the coordinator.
