Emphasis on K-12 teaching strategies in the areas of educational dance, gymnastics and tumbling. Teaching concepts include developmentally appropriate instruction, providing a safe environment for skill development and an introduction to skills themes and movement concepts. Field experience required. Prerequisite: permission of the coordinator. Open only to physical education teaching majors or by permission of the coordinator.
