Study and practice of a variety of methods in teaching English as a second or foreign language. Discussion of pedagogical issues in language teaching. Topics vary each semester; consult the English department for a schedule of offerings. Prerequisite: ENG 320 or permission of the department chairperson. Parallel: 1-2 hours of ENG 457 (K-12 licensure candidates should take 1 credit hour; elementary concentration students should take 2 credit hours).
