Provides prospective teachers with understanding of difficulties in reading and practical experiences in assessing reading difficulties and in study of corrective treatments. Includes guided laboratory experience. Must earn a grade of C or better to pass the course. Prerequisite: C or better grade in EDRDG 320 and/or 400; admission to the teacher education program; permission of the department chairperson. May be repeated only once.
