Under a program approved and supervised by the Department of Economics, economics majors work full-time for one semester as economics interns for private or public organizations. Periodic written reports of job experiences are required. Prerequisite: permission of the department chairperson. Credit is not applicable toward meeting the requirements of a major in economics. A total of 6 hours of credit may be earned. Open only to second-semester junior and senior economics majors.
