A lecture and laboratory course in the preparation of biological material for microscopic examination in teaching, research, and clinical applications. Emphasizes preparation of smears, squashes, whole mounts, paraffin and frozen plant and animal sections, and photomicrography. Prerequisite: BIO 111, 112, 213, and one course of college chemistry.
