Topics include the collecting, organizing, and displaying of data; measures of central tendency, measures of variation, histograms, probability; probability distributions, binomial distributions, normal distributions, linear regression and their applications. Prerequisites: A score on the CTC approved assessments that is equivalent to a 240 on the THEA, or DSMA 0301 with a minimum grade of "C", or DSMA 0303 (Intermediate Algebra or equivalent*) with a minimum grade of "C", or MATH 1332 with a minimum grade of "C". This course is not above the level of College Algebra and does not satisfy the CTC Core Curriculum mathematics (020) requirements for AA or AS degrees.
