Prerequisite(s): ENG 114, NUR 116, NUR 125, NUR 135 Corequisite(s): NUR 233 This course provides expanded concepts related to nursing care for individuals experiencing common complex alterations in health. Emphasis is placed on the nurse's role as a member of a multidisciplinary team and as a manager of care for a group of individuals. Upon completion, students should be able to provide comprehensive nursing care for groups of individuals with common complex alterations in health. Learning experiences focus on collaboration with multidisciplinary health care team members to provide uninterrupted client care in a variety of inpatient, outpatient, and home settings.
