This foundation course acquaints students with current computer terminology and concepts associated with computer hardware and software. Students are given hands-on experience with Microsoft Office applications-Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access. Concentration is on Excel and Access. The Internet is used as a research and communication tool. Class/Lab hrs. 4. It is strongly recommended that students with minimal computer experience take OFTEC 110 Keyboarding/Information Processing before this course.
