This course provides the regular education teacher basic knowledge about special education laws and regulations. It will explore the type of exceptional students served within the educational system, and how modifications can be made to meet their educational needs. This course emphasizes legal responsibilities of the regular teacher for special needs education. (P: EDUC 111, 215 (Elementary Education), 255, 112 and required cumulative GPA) Offered every fall.
