This is a first course in calculus for all disciplines. Topics include limits, continuity, derivatives of algebraic and trigonometric functions, antiderivatives, and the definite integral. Applications including curve sketching, optimization problems, related rates, area under and between curves, and volumes of revolution. A graphing calculator is required. MATH 201 fulfills the SUNY General Education Mathematics requirement. Prerequisite: C or better grade in MATH 135 or appropriate qualifying test score, and prior completion or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 100. 4 Cr. (4 Lec.) Fall and spring semesters.
