This is a pre-calculus course with applications from various disciplines including technology, science, and business. Topics include families of functions, mechanics of functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions and complex numbers. The emphasis is on applications and problem solving. A graphing calculator is required. Note: Students completing this course may not receive credit for MTH 117. Prerequisite: Sequential II or equivalent.
