The central focus of the course revolves around the delicate balance being forged between law and technology. The topics to be discussed include intellectual property issues such as copyrights and trademarks, business and finance issues such as online contracting and taxation, social issues such as privacy, defamation, computer crime, international issues in cyberspace and constitutional issues.
