This course (GC491) is usually taken during the fall semester of the junior year. It provides the tools and skills needed for securing internship employment such as resumé and cover letter writing, job searching, and interview skills. A total of 240 hours of employment will be completed during the summer between the junior and senior years. GC492 is taken during the fall semester of the senior year. It provides a means for students’ self-evaluation, assessment of the student’s internship employment, and updating of resumés to reflect their work experience. Prerequisite: Graphic Communications Major, junior class standing or permission of instructor.
