This course is designed for students who have completed MAT 098 or 099 and MAT 110. Topics include set theory, Venn diagrams, counting principles, permutations and combinations, probability, statistics, and the normal distribution. Prerequisite: MAT 110. This course may not be taken for credit by students who have completed MAT 114, MAT 118, MAT 313 or their equivalents, without the permission of the chair of the Mathematics Department. Offered fall and spring. 3 credits
